According to a report by the Indiana Gaming Commission (IGC), the Gary casino cruised to the top spot for the 17th month in a row. This solidifies its place as the king of Indiana’s gaming scene.

  • Year-over-Year Growth: Hard Rock boasted a 9% increase in casino win compared to February 2022, bringing in a cool $34.4 million.
  • Leading the Pack: The casino raked in nearly 17% of the state’s total casino win, which amounted to $204.9 million for the month.
  • Slots: They led the state with $258.9 million in slot machine play, resulting in a win of $25.6 million. This is a significant improvement over February 2022’s slot win of $22.1 million.
  • Table Games: Hard Rock stood out in the realm of table games, particularly excelling in baccarat. An impressive total of $47.3 million was bet, with the casino winning $8.9 million from it. Remarkably, this figure eclipsed the total table game bets placed at the five Ohio River casinos in Indiana and the French Lick Casino combined!

Casino president Matt Schuffert attributes some of it to the mild February weather, which likely enticed more people to visit casinos across the Region. But Hard Rock also seems to be hitting the right notes with its offerings.Schuffert emphasized the glowing reviews received for their beloved “all-you-can-eat crab leg special” at the Fresh Harvest buffet, available exclusively on Thursdays. Additionally, they’ve introduced a thrilling array of high-limit slot machines. Looking ahead, the casino has curated an impressive entertainment roster for the upcoming months, boasting performances by renowned artists such as Pitbull, Diana Ross, and The Killers.
